Standard Magnehelic® Differential Pressure Gauges are rated for a maximum pressure of 15 PSIG and should not be used where that limit could be exceeded. Models employ a rubber plug on the rear which functions as a relief valve. To provide a free path for pressure relief, there are four spacer pads that maintain .023' clearance when the gauge is surface mounted.
These gauges are designed for use with lower total static system pressure. They measure and indicate differential pressure of air and compatible gases or liquids. The gauges are commonly used for reading pressure in isolation and hospital environments and temporary units.
