3M™ DBI-SALA® Fall Protection Shock-Absorbing Lanyard - 2 legs - 6 ft

The DBI-SALA® Force2™ shock-absorbing lanyard (SAL) offers a fall-protection option where there is no overhead anchorage and you must tie off at your feet. It also can serve as a standard lanyard. The small, lightweight, and efficient shock absorber immediately begins to extend and absorb energy during a fall, to help reduce arrest force to safe levels. The shock absorber is made with Hi-10™ Vectran™ energy management materials, offering excellent abrasion, cut, and chemical resistance. The absorber has reflective materials to enhance visibility in low light and a visual indicator once it's been deployed for reliable inspection. This compact lanyard is made to last, with abrasion-resistant webbing; it stands up to rough use and long periods of weather and sun exposure without fraying or tearing. Self-locking snap hooks let you open and connect easily, even wearing gloves. The lanyard is equipped with an i-Safe™ RFID tag, ready to incorporate into a fall protection inventory and safety inspection record system.
